This movie is due to premiere in Singapore on 28th Dec 2006. This is the conclusion movie of the battle of wits between L and Light Yagami. With the appearance of a second Kira, will Light be successful in killing L?

In the end, Light was outwitted by L who has pre-written his own name to die 23 days later and on the 3rd day, L actually lay a trap for Kira(Light) to fall into. Light prepared to use Rem to kill both L and his butler. Later, he even want to kill his own father to get back the Death Note. To his surprise, the Death Note that Misa got with her was a fake and Light was then surrounded by L and gang. As Light attempts to use the piece of death note in his watch, he was been shot and left to beg for Ryuk's help. Ryuk eventually writes Light's name in the Death Note and that concluded the latter's life. Following that, L died due to the Death Note as his time was up (23 days).
